By the way, one of the top three local landmarks that come up in my mind is Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. I intend to visit the remains of Vietnamese leader, Ho Chi Minh, rest in the Ho chi Minh Mausoleum. This mausoleum is located in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam.
The Ho Chi Minh mausoleum is situated at the heart of Ba Dinh Square which is in Hanoi city. Inside the mausoleum is the place where put a dead body of Ho Chi Minh. He is the Vietnamese leader and the chairman of the communist party. Moreover, the mausoleum was influenced by Lenin's Mausoleum in Moscow, particularly the architecture elements.
For example, the exterior is fully made of grey granite and the interior is decorated by grey, red and black lavish stone. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is opened publicly since 1975. The mausoleum is closed sometimes. Because the official government would like to preserve the body of Ho Chi Minh. The body is generally sent to Russia for recheck every year.
Mr. Ho Chi Minh exactly passes away at 2 September 1969. However, the construction of Mausoleum started at 2 September 1973 which received fully support from the Vietnamese. Mr. Ho Chi Minh is the great leadership that be loved by Vietnamese people. The construction site is completely finished in 1975. All of the material were collected from many parts of the country to build this Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; for example, marble, granite and wood. This building is elegant and outstanding. When I get inside the mausoleum, I was impressed this site by the Vietnamese people. I found out that the local people really admire and love their leader. Many people queue up for paying their respect to their beloved leader. Moreover, the central government preserves the body dead very well. The embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh is freeze in cooled. The body was laid in a glass transparent box, with constant temperature. Furthermore, his body is strictly protected by honor guards. In addition, taking a photo is prohibited in this room. You are not allowed to bring your camera, mobile phone and any belongings when you visit this room. All of pictures inside are not allowed to public. In addition, you have to dress properly, no shorts or miniskirt. To pay to respect Ho Chi Minh, you cannot making a noise, smoking, drinking or eating inside the mausoleum. Please well behave to this site due to the rules and regulations.
After visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, I would love to see Ho Chi Minh residence, the presidential palace. I find the way by following the trilingual sign which show in English, Chinese and Vietnamese. It is located behind the mausoleum. I walked along the site until find House of Ho Chi Minh. Eventually, I found a small park and porn. I cannot visit inside the Ho Chi Minh‘s house. Thus, I just engaged in sightseeing outside the building. Moreover, I were also appreciated the single column pagoda before ending of my one day trip.
